Colin has been a Dolphin Club member for over 23 years, during which time he has completed numerous swims including Alcatraz and Golden Gate crossings to name but a few.

In recent years his attention has turned from swimming, to piloting and photographing, where his skills learned from a lifetime of surfing, windsurfing, kayaking and Graphic Art/Design have earned him a position of trust and admiration from many. Well respected for his unique approach to ‘capturing the moment’ event photography as well as his knowledge of San Francisco’s ever changing water conditions, Colin has been hired as a private photographer / pilot for numerous open water swims, as well as staff photographer & pilot for many events, large and small over the last several years.

As a professional photographer most recently, he has several large pieces currently on display at the S.F.Moma (Ft. Mason Artists Gallery) and is gearing up for an upcoming one man show at a private Gallery in downtown San Francisco.
